Abbotsford Fish and Game: April 13-14

Our 2024 Tour kicks off during the second weekend in April, the Best of the West Championship Tour stops on the side of Sumas Mountain at the Abbotsford Fish and Game Club. The completely re-built course was a wonderful surprise in 2023. A full 40 target course that was brand new and incredibly challenging The mixed deciduous and coniferous canopy allows filtering light that changes by the minute. Add in the challenging shooting angles and dense underbrush and you have a demanding, world-class course.

Kamloops Bowbenders: April 27-28

Second stop on our 2024 tour brings us to a brand-new location: Kamloops BC. Home of the 2023 Provincial Championships, Kamloops is truly a world class 3D archery venue. Open sage brush flats, and steep sided canyons make judging difficult, and the persistent winds are almost always a factor. Whether it is Flamingos on a dried-up lakebed, bedded sheep in the rocky cliffs or criss crossing up a dried-out gully for turkeys, deer and sasquatches, Kamloops is sure to be a highlight of your archery season.

Hampton Inn by Hilton Kamloops
The Plaza Hotel Kamloops

Cariboo Archers: May 11-12

Qualifier #3 is at another new venue for the tour. With the intention of opening up the tour to more of BC we have added Williams Lake to our roster. The Cariboo Archers put on an incredible shoot every year with their amazing target scenes and beautiful interior landscape and we are excited to be a part of it for 2024. Challenging, beautiful and FUN, this leg of the tour could not come more highly recommended.

Kettle Wildlife Association: May 18-19

The fourth qualifier on the Best of the West Championship Tour is Victoria Day weekend in the beautiful Kettle Valley. The dry southern interior climate combined with open pines and little underbrush makes for spectacular views and scenic shots. There are two separate 20-target courses for each day that take you from a glacial boulder garden to open wind-swept hillsides, plus an additional walk on 15-target course that ensures the shooting will be different, engaging and challenging. Voted as one of the best Interior shoots, this one is a “must attend” for any one who likes archery.

Camping is available on site and hotels are available in nearby Greenwood:

Evening Star Motel

Mission Rod and Gun: June 22-23

The next stop on the Best of the West Championship Tour is at the Mission Rod and Gun Club. A lush, temperate rain forest of deep woods and mossy trees lets you know you are shooting deep in the midst of the West Coast. Dark tunnels through the trees and heavy canopy make for hard shots and difficult judging. There are separate 20-target courses for each day that will keep you challenged and looking forward to every target. Novelty shoots will also be available on Saturday afternoon and are sure to be a hit.

Hotel available within 15 minute drive of the venue:
Best Western Plus Mission City Lodge

Semiahmoo Fish and Game Club: July 6-7

Our Final shoot of the Best of the West Championship Tour is located at the beautiful Semiahmoo Fish and Game Club in Surrey, BC. Dense underbrush and challenging tunnels transition to open flat fields, making for exciting shooting and difficult judging. From shooting across ponds with live turtles to a meandering flat section of the course along the scenic little Campbell River, Semiahmoo is a must visit for any archer.
